چکیده
In a steam generator, the heat transfer tubes are supported by contact with support plates and anti-vibration bars. The two-phase flow flows over causes vibration when operating. fatigue analysis, tube is simplified to beam model, contacts bars as simple-supported boundary conditions. This linear simplification improves computational efficiency but cannot simulate actual situation of area. consideration this situation, in downwards modified S–N curve used envelop fretting. For different materials pressure, modification needs be obtained through experimental analysis. paper, effect fretting on performance material 690 alloy discussed means high cycle test specimen room temperature air, low sheet water environment, SWT (Smith–Watson–Topper) predicting simulation, conservatism design discussed. It shown that, range cycle, strength lower than mean curve, it can still enveloped ASME (the American Society Mechanical Engineers). However, under condition ultra-high no longer performance, so further downward necessary ensure safety design.

Numerical Simulation of Heat Transfer in a Vertical Inverted U–Tube Steam Generator
In this paper, a numerical scheme has been developed for primary and secondary fluids adopting Euler–Cauchy method to find the temperature distribution of the primary fluid relative to the secondary fluid and vice–versa and to obtain an optimum boiling length of the tube in the vertical inverted U–tube steam generator (UTSG).

Degradation of steam generator (SG) tubing due to both mechanical and corrosion modes has resulted in extensive repairs and replacement of SGs around the world. The variety of degradation modes challenges the integrity of SG tubing and, therefore, the stations’ reliability. Inspection and monitoring aimed at timely detection and characterization of the degradation is a key element for ensuring ...

Joule-Thomson cooling systems are used in refrigeration and liquefaction processes. There are extensive studies on Joule-Thomson cryogenic systems, but most of them coverage steady state conditions or lack from experimental data. In the present work, transient thermal behavior of Joule-Thomson cooling system including counter current helically coiled tube in tube heat exchanger, expansion valve...

in this paper the effect of block shape vortex generators (vgs) on an air-water fin-tube heat exchanger has been studied experimentally using exergy analysis method. also the effect of these vgs on increasing heat transfer rate has been simulated numerically and the results show a good agreement with the experiments. in this research we used a wind tunnel to produce wind flow over heat exchange...
متن کاملFull-scale CFD Simulation and Measurement in a Heat Recovery Steam Generator
Flue gas generated by the wastewater incineration entrains a large number of ash particles which are composed of alkali substances into the heat recovery steam generator (HRSG). The deposition of particles rich in alkali on the tube surface of heat transfer can reduce the heat transfer efficiency; even cause severe capacitylimiting plugging and unscheduled shutdown. In the present work, a full-...
